Argan oil with the positive results!
The "miracle oil" Argan is cold-pressed from the fruit of the Moroccan Argan tree (Argania spinosa). Inside this fruit is the small seed from which argan oil is produced. It thrives only in a few areas in the southeast of Morocco, where it is a real "treasure" for the local economy.
The Argan tree is protected by Unesco as a world cultural treasure - as the area in which it thrives is constantly shrinking. Argan oil is considered one of the rarest (and most expensive) oils as it takes 100 kg of dried fruit to be processed and 8.5 - 10 hours of hard work to produce 1 to 1.2 liters of oil. All stages of the work are done by a cooperative of Moroccan women, who have passed down the processing method from generation to generation, keeping the technique unchanged until today.
This particular oil contains 80% monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, Omega 9 and 6, an important percentage of linoleic acid, an unsaturated fatty acid that acts as a waterproofing agent for the skin, creating a protective barrier and maintaining its elasticity. It also contains carotenoids, terpenoids, polyphenols and tocopherols, all powerful antioxidants against skin aging. Thanks to Argan's high content of vitamin E it is by far the most moisturizing, nourishing, anti-wrinkle and anti-aging oil.
It is ideal for broken and brittle nails, damaged hair or hair with dandruff.
Palmitic, Stearic, Oleic acids and phytosterols of Argan have an anti-inflammatory effect and a restorative effect on the skin tissue. In addition, it contains squaline, a unique and rare element against skin cancer.
Also, 5 remarkable benefits of it are.
1. Treatment of acne
The triterpenoids found naturally in argan oil offer amazing skin health benefits, including treating mild acne and healing acne-related scars. Studies have shown that it is suitable for reducing sebum levels in people with oily skin, reducing oiliness and improving the overall appearance of the skin.
2. Reduces premature aging
As mentioned, Argan oil contains a high level of fatty acids, in fact, it consists of about 80% fatty acids that work wonders in fighting the signs of premature aging. This is why Moroccans used it to prevent premature aging and its signs, such as crow's feet and wrinkles. Regular use of Argan oil has been shown to reduce the depth and severity of wrinkles, as well as fade the signs of aging by restoring the skin's youthful elasticity and increasing the rate of regeneration of healthy skin cells.
3. Relief of arthritic and rheumatic conditions
The oil is considered extremely beneficial for arthritic or rheumatic conditions. The flavonoids present in argan oil have powerful anti-inflammatory properties that can be used to treat both external and internal problems, including relieving the pain and swelling of arthritis. Argan oil contains a high level of triterpenoids, especially butyrospermol, which are important, biologically active compounds known for their anti-inflammatory benefits. Its high content of linoleic acid increases the production of prostaglandins which are known to help rheumatic diseases as well.
4. Treatment of dry, brittle hair
In addition to using Argan oil as a conditioner to repair split ends and prevent frizz, if your hair is dry and brittle, you can use it as an in-between deep conditioning treatment to leave your hair gently moisturized. To do this, warm 5 to 10 drops in the palm of your hands and then massage it into your scalp. Continue to work it all over your hair, down to your ends, then twist your hair and place a shower cap over it. The shower cap helps retain your natural body heat so the oil penetrates your hair and also helps keep your pillowcase oil-free. In the morning, simply wash your hair as you normally would, rinsing well to make sure all the oil residue is washed away.
Repeat once a week or if you have dandruff or dry scalp, do it twice a week until the problem disappears.
5. Protect your hair from styling tools
Unlike many styling agents that can cause long-term hair damage due to the many chemicals contained within, Argan oil helps to enrich the hair and nourish it with nutrients to repair the damage. Before using any styling tools, apply 2 to 3 drops of Argan oil using your hand, palm first. Then use a brush or comb to distribute it evenly throughout your hair from roots to ends coating it with the oil, keeping it protected from heat.
